In The Memory Of My Father - Shree Harbans Lall Khetarpal

Reason of making Family Tree:
Back in 1980’s my father Shree Harbans Lall Khetarpal was opening his file full of documents where he found this paper which was so old that we had hard time reading it. He showed me and said this is a very important paper and has to be copied again for the future. These are your ancestors I got this information from Pundit in Haridwar last time I went to India. In those days I had old Personal Computer run in DOS version and got this program about Family Tree. So instead of re-writing it I decided to data collect in that software I had. At the same time I saw this 8 to 10 hours long serial on TV called ‘Roots’ by ‘Alex Haley’. In the end of the serial Mr. Alex Haley came on TV and said which inspired me to make this tree. He said ‘Do you know what your roots are?’ At that point I started taking interest in making my family tree.
