The Kiczuk and Slesinski Family

I am researching the Kichuk family from Poland. The original spelling of the name is Kiczuk. The earliest record I have is for Jan who married Anna. Their descendants settled in the Norwich, Connecticut area. Other limbs of this branch include Mikutel, Sobanski and Kulesza.

Another branch is the family name Slesinski (Sleszynski). Alexander Slesinski married Stepanie Lutostanska (Lutostanski) and settled in Greenpoint area of New York.

I would much appreciate any information on these names and people.

  I believe the this to be the Kiczuk family in Poland with Joseph and Leonardo sitting on the right.

  This is a picture of the Joseph Kiczuk family. I guess its date to be about 1928. Sr. Jolanta is missing.

  Joseph Kiczuk family portrait. The date was handwritten at the top. Clement was about a year old and Eugene was not yet born.

  Fr. Casey took a trip to Poland in about the year 1932. He posed with Wincenty Kiczuk, Joseph's brother and people from his village. Records indicate Wincenty visited the U.S. in 1902.
• Wincenty ship manifest 1902 (305 KB)
  Wincenty came to the United States for a while in 1902. Line 9 of the manifest shows that he visited his brother in Orange Connecticut. I can not make out the name of the brother.
