OBITUARY - PATRIOT LEDGER 1959
MIDDLEBORO - George E. McClellan, 69, of 13 Elm St., died yesterday at St. Lukes Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Dorchester, he had lived in Middleboro 35 years.
He was a conductor for the New Haven Railroad for 35 years and a member of the Middleboro Eagles Aerie, Holy Name Society and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Boucher) McClellan, and two sisters, Miss Helen E. McClellan of Braintree and Mrs. Mary Killory of Quincy.
A high mass of requiem will be celebrated Saturday at 9 A.M. in Sacred Heart Church.Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visiting hours at the Fahey Funeral Home, 32 South Main St., are today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
