OBITUARY FROM THE PATRIOT LEDGEROF APRIL 27, 1996
Helena M. "Mimi" (Dacey) Fopiano, 91, of Weymouth, a former switchboard operator for Ryan's Lumber Co. in Weymouth Landing, died Thursday in South Shore Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Fopiano also worked until the age of 80 at the former Paragon Park at Nantasket Beach in Hull.She was born in Dorchester and lived in Halifax before moving to Weymouth, where she lived most of her life.
Wife of the late Richard J. Fopiano, she is survived a son, Stephen G. Fopiano of Marshfield; a daughter, Katherine T. Devlin of Bridgewater, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Albert the Great Church.Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
Visiting is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at McDonald Funeral Home, 890 Main St., South Weymouth.
