OBITUARY FROM PATRIOT LEDGER OF MAY 2, 1995.
Elizabeth A. Dacey, 59, of Duxbury, a retired commercial artist for the Museum of Science in Boston and for the Spaulding Co., died Friday in Baypath at Duxbury.Miss Dacey was a member of the Pilgrim Church and the Women's Fellowship of the church, and a member of the Guild of St. John the Evangelist Church.
She was a member of the Pilgrim Society, Duxbury Republican Club and the Rural and Historical Society of Duxbury, and a former member of the Women's City Club of Boston, and South Shore Art Center, Cohasset.
She was born in Lowell, the daughter of Eleanor J. (Granahan) Dacey of Duxbury, and the late Daniel J. Dacey, grew up and attended school in Quincy, and lived for a time in Cohasset.
She attended Cushing College.
A memorial service will be held a 2 p.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Church, Duxbury.Burial in Woodside Cemetery in Cohasset will be private.
Arrangements were made by McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home in Cohasset.
There are no visiting hours.
