The Kimmet Family of MN

I have been researching the many tree branches of my ancestors and their descendants for years to fulfill my own dream of discovering more about my ancestors. I have learned through chats with my own grandparents that the memories we have of our own parents will not be remembered if they are not passed on to the following generations, my own grandparents have difficulty remembering the names of their own grandparents. I made it my own quest to learn who my great-great grandparents were, for I am well aware of the impact of my own grandparents upon myself and my sister. I can see aspects of their physical qualities and personalities in myself. I have my grandmother's temper. I have my grandfather's ability to draw animals to my side. I have my grandmother's ability to emphathize. I have my grandfather's love of traveling. There are so many aspects of them that are invested in me whether by genetics or their nuturing love, I don't know, but I do know some of those same aspects can be discovered in distant cousins. How many of us are related and do not realize it? My personal amibtion is to locate as many of my relatives as I can to gain more insight on our common ancestors personalities'.
