| Our Family includes many names: Short/ Seagle/ Kimbrell/ Peeler/ Costner/ Smawley/ Turner/ Parker& Hope to name a few. The main focus of my research so far has been into the Costner/ Kastner family branch of my tree. I serve as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Costner Reunion held annually, the second Sunday in September, at Carpenter's Grove Baptist Church in Belwood, NC. Primarily this reunion is for descendents of Levi Costner, but is open to anyone with ties to the family. Most of the research I have obtained from cemeteries, Family Tree Maker resources, and elder family members. I dedicate my research to the memories of my grandparents John Owen and Lenola Costner Seagle. |
