The family tree of Chin Wha Cosmos Kim and Soo Chun Theresa Kim of Honolulu, HI. On Dec. 22, the first group of Korean immigrants - 56 men, 21 women and 25 children - sail across the Pacific en route to Hawai‘i aboard the SS Gaelic. They land in Honolulu on Jan.13, 1903 to work as immigrant laborers on the sugar plantations. Grandmother was a picture bride from Korea.
