The Ellijay Kimms

As a newby to geneology, my searches over the last three years has given me both a wealth of information and left me hungry for more....
The two main families I'm interested in are the Kimmerle/Dittus' and Shortell/Maxwell's.

John F Kimmerle and Anna B Dittus met on board ship on their way from Germany in 1852. They settled in Ohio.

Richard Shortell (Shortall) arrived in America in 1865. He married Susan Maxwell in 1870 and had several children. Susan was from New Jersey and they lived in Brooklyn, NY
