My mother researched her own surname for 25 years...So I'm continuing a family tradition. My husbands family came from Germany and this is what I am trying to research. Their name was actuall Koenig and I'm told they came from "Prussia" and "Koenig On The Rhine" I have numerous information on the Abraham Lincoln Coffin family and the Jefferson Ezekial Gant family.

and regions include Indiana,Kentucky, Virginia,Tennesee,Massachusetts,and Germany.
