Steeles, Fays,Houses and Kinvilles of the Mohawk Valley, NY

I am researching the family history of RUDOLPH STAHL(Steele). Rudolph came over from Germany in July 1710 with the Palantine migration. He was married to MARIA DOROTHEA SCHILD(Schilde?)1706. They eventually wound up in German Flats(Ilion) New York around 1723.I am also currently researching my family name of KINVILLE (Quenneville). They came from St. Anicet, Quebec, Canada to Essex County, NY, then to New Hampshire and then to Ilion,(Herkimer County) NY.Next I am working on the HOUSES(HAUS). Johann Christian Haus was another Palantine immigrant of 1709/10. He came over the same time as Rudolph Steele. Their families intermarried. Hamilton Steele married Harriet House and they were my great great grandparents. The last line of descendant I'm working on is JOHN FAY (Samuel,Ebenezer,Thomas,Elisha,Lucius,Harrison,Frederick and Ruth) out of Marlboro, Mass. Ruth Fay is my mother, Frederick is my Grandfather. Harrison (my Greatgrandfather) came to Ilion, NY from Mass. and married SARAH STEELE (descendant of Rudolph). Any info possibly related to these families is greatly appreciated. Hopefully, I will manage to get as much information that I have on this web site to share. Anyone returning to get info from the Quenneville Genealogy Report, there has been a name change. Antoine Quenneville b. 1847 was not married to Sophie Joffrion as earlier stated. Marriage records of St. Johns Church,Keeseville,NY show his wife's last name was Filion. This info is also supported by Linda Goodrich at the July family reunion from info she found in Montreal.

  This is my father Joseph Lewis Kinville at basic training at Great Lakes Naval Base 1952/3. He served from 1952-1956 and was on board the USS Intrepid. Although he did not see action in Korea, his ship was a part of the conflict between Turkey and Greece at this time.
