17. HOWARD F.³ KINNEY (SARAH R.², FIELDING THOMAS¹) was born August 1873 in Hart County, Kentucky, and died 1935 in Hart County, Kentucky. He married MARY BELLE REYNOLDS, daughter of FRANKLIN WEST and FANNIE FUGATE.

18. SARAH LOUISE DAVIS³ KINNEY (SARAH R.², FIELDING THOMAS¹) was born November 29, 1874 in Hart County, Kentucky, and died Abt. 1905 in Hart County, Kentucky. She married CHARLES COLUMBUS HAWKINS 1892. He was born September 09, 1870 in Kentucky, and died November 30, 1961 in Kentucky.

He married LILLIE MYRTLE WEST July 1895, daughter of THOMAS WEST and FRANCIS SMITH. She was born April 1880 in Center Point, Kentucky, and died February 06, 1971 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Notes for WILLIAM RAND KINNEY:
He was also known as "Willy" Kinney. From the Family Records of T. Gerene Kinney Lord: "Jo Etta Brown, grandaughter, said that Willy and son Claude were working on a neighbors farm and drank water from a well and Willy died with Diptheria, however, I believe it was Typhoid."

20. GEORGE BURT³ KINNEY (FIELDING², FIELDING THOMAS¹) was born April 25, 1871 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and died July 07, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married MARGARET ISABELLE KINNEY 1890 in Hart County, Kentucky, daughter of WILLIAM KINNEY and SARAH KINNEY. She was born March 19, 1869 in Hart County, Kentucky, and died November 27, 1959 in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Children are listed above under (16) Margaret Isabelle Kinney.

21. LAURA³ KINNEY (FIELDING², FIELDING THOMAS¹) was born 1870 in Hart County, Kentucky, and died Bef. 1896 in Hart County, Kentucky. She married DAVID KING HODGES in Hart County, Kentucky, son of WILLIAM HODGES and CLARISSA HAWKINS. He was born March 31, 1860 in Hart County, Kentucky, and died May 20, 1946 in Hart County, Kentucky.

She married CHARLES WASHINGTON DAVIS December 24, 1896 in Lebanon, Missouri, son of WILLIAM DAVIS and MARTHA GARRIAS. He was born March 17, 1871 in Laclede, Missouri, and died March 25, 1955 in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Notes for ERNEST GREER:
Ernest Greer was a dancer who was said to have taught Bill (William Thomas Kinney) how to do dance routines. Bill actually danced in several local clubs but would not allow dancing, in any form, by his own children.

She was born 1882 in Pittsburg, Kansas, and died July 10, 1965 in Ventura, California.

25. JESSE GREEN³ KINNEY (JESSE FUQUA², FIELDING THOMAS¹) was born January 14, 1886 in Lebanon, Missouri, and died April 07, 1957 in Ventura, California. He married (1) CHARM MATTHEWS August 02, 1906 in Grants Pass, Oregon, daughter of LEMUEL MATTHEWS and MINERVA DYE. She was born in Missouri, and died June 1927 in San Francisco, California. He married (2) FLO Aft. 1933.

Notes for JESSE GREEN KINNEY:
He was also known as "Jerry" Kinney. A chef by trade and an innovator at heart, he once had the idea to sell "I was here" placards to the throngs of people walking across San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge on it's opening day. He had the placards all printed in time but celebrated the fact too enthusiastically and thereby missed the event entirely.

During WWII, a chef for the armed forces, he was captured on Wake Island and held prisoner by the Japanese.

Grants Pass - "Married --At the Christian church parsonage, Thursday evening, August 2, 1906, Jessie Kinney and Miss Charm Matthews, Rev. Clark Bower officiating. The groom is a resident of Los Angeles and the bride has been a resident of this place for several years. They left south Thursday night."

Aurora - "It is reported that a young lady Aurora friend of Miss Charm Matthews, formerly of this city, but now of Grant City, Oregan, (sp.) is in receipt of a letter from Charm in which she states that she was recently married to Jesse Kinney, also formerly of Aurora. If such is the case, the Argus will join with other friends in extending congratulations."
