| I am researching the following family names: 1. KINDL (= Kindel, Kennel, von Kennel, von Känel, Kaenel) - other possible variations are: Kendel/Kendl/Khendel/Khendl, Khindel/Khindl/Khintl, Kindle, Künnel; Khindele) 2. PRAVETZ / PRAWETZ 3. BECK 4. SCHWEIGHARDT My primary focus are the families from Kozma/Vérteskozma and Gánt, Hungary with their descendants and their roots in Palatine (Kindl=Kennel/von Kennel) and Switzerland (von Känel): i) Johann Jakob Kindl/Kindel (=Kennel/von Kennel?/von Känel?) from Obernheim/Palatine/Germany, who settled in Vérteskozma/ Hungary around 1748; descendants resettled in Kathreinfeld and Groß-Komlosch & Sellesch/Banat/Hungary. After WW II most of the families had to leave Hungary and settled in Germany. Johann Jakob is very likely a descendant of Hans von Känel from Faltschen/Reichenbach/Berner Oberland/Switzerland. ii) Heinrich Kindl (Kindel) from Obernheim/Palatine/Germany. Registered in Vienna 1768 on his way to Hungary. Registered in Kozma 1771 initially and most likely resettled in Marienfeld/Banat. He is very likely a brother to Johann Jakob (1) iii) Niclas (Nikolaus) Kindl from Brettnach (Lorraine); 1766 to Grosskomlosch/Banat/Hungary. No further information available yet and very likely not related to the Kindl=Kennel family iv) Kindl Mathias oo 3.3.1715 in Moor=Mór/Hungary. No further information available yet. v) Kindl=Khindele Anton - registered in Vienna March 1766 on his way to Apatin/Batschka. No further information available yet, but very likely not related to the Kindl=Kennel family. vi) Jacobus, Christianus and Joannes Pravicz. 1771 in Balinka, Hungary. No further information available yet. vii) Josef Pravetz and Magdalena Groseibel, Gánt, Hungary. No further information available yet. viii)Jacobus Beck, 1769 in Zsambek. No further information available yet. ix) Josef Beck, Koernye, Hungary. No further information available yet. x) Andreas and Paulus Schweichart from Balinka, Hungary. No further information available yet. Any information on any of the above listed families is highly appreciated, in order to document the family history and family roots.
