Searching for surnames KING, DAVIS, POLK, Edmondson, CROSS, and Baldwin.AREAS include:
Louisana, Tenn. Missouri, Mississippi Maybe North Carolina in late 1700's or early 1800's. History is on CD disk 4 from family Tree Maker. Main name is Jesse E. Davis of La. and Benjamin Franklin King of LA. Both came out of Mississippi. Also I am looking for infomation on John Polk father of Elias W. Polk. North Carolin, Tenn, Missouri.

I am intersted in trying to go back in time to locate the birth place of these individuals and thier parents names. Anything on siblings or other family members can be used also, as I am collecting any thing connected to the families.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
