| This information was researched and documented by myself and Marie Warkentin with a lot of input from family members in the year or so leading up to the SHEANE REUNION 2000 which was held at Herb & Marie Warkentin's residence July 25, 2000 in Virden, Manitoba. They have a beautiful, large well treed lot which is landscaped with many different flowers and shrubs. Part of the front lawn contained a huge raised flower bed of red geraniums which was used as a backdrop for many pictures which where taken throughout the day. We had the most beautiful weather we could ever imagine. The day was bright and clear, hardly a breath of wind, the temperature got up to about 80F (about 24C). On the front lawn was eight sun shades with forest green canopies with many, many white lawn chairs. The lawn had been trimmed just prior, green (of coarse) was predominent. Everyone could tell the IRISH where out in full force. |
