3. ROBERT² OLIVER (----¹) was born Abt. 1779 in Dowling Farm, County Derry, Ireland, and died Aft. 1851. He married MARTHA CALDWELL in Ireland.

Notes for ROBERT OLIVER:
The Oliver farm was a "freehold" located about 2 miles north of Limavady, Aghanloo Parish, County Derry, Ireland. The name of the farm was "Dowling" and it appears to have been a freehold since 1632. However, the land became part of an airport in the 1930s. Robert and his wife Martha Caldwell remained in Ireland, but tow of their sons, Robert and William settled in Wisconsin. Robert left in 1834 and William in 1836.
