I am looking for information about Gideon Perry Cowan, born in 1846 married to Amanda Bilbry in Tennessee in the early 1860s. They had three children, three boys named Ray Cowan, Wiley Patrick and William Chamberlain Cowan. In the 1870 census he was in Bledso Co. Tennessee. He left Amanda and the boys in Tenn. and Amanda is on 1880 census alone with the boys. I would like any information about Gideon Perry Cowan born in May 1846 in Pikeville, TN. I think.
