| I am reseaching my family tree starting in Irland. I have found that William Kirton,son of Philip Kirton,with spouse ?? Avant with children John Williams,ID 2510, "Early Pee Dee Settlers, Heritage Books, Inc By John M Gregg,"came from Northern Irland. I cannot find where Philip Kirton began his life. In England there is a town called KIRTON, it comes to mind that during this time most titles were of the city from which they came. Such as, Philip from Kirton. I do not know this to be so in this case. |
