Kirkland Family: Also researching Kirkland family VA>NC>SC>AL. An early ancestor is Richard Kirkland of VA who married Mary Snoden in early 1700s. Later Kirklands who descended from him and migrated to SE AL from Edgefield District SC around 1820 were brothers Moses, William, and Caleb. |
