The surnames that are associated with our family are Johnson, McGregor, Pool and Kirtley. Most of my research is focused on the Kirtley family. I am interested in finding Kirtleys who are related to the Arkansas branch. James G. Kirtley b. Nov. 20, 1828. d. Sept. 5, 1894. He married Baudesia "Dissy" Wilkoney about 1864. Their first two children were born in Missouri but the rest were born in Conway Co., Arkansas. According to the 1880 census. They had 10 sons and one daughter. their names were: John Kirtley b.1865, Louis Allen Kirtley b. March 18, 1867, Will Kirtley b. 1868, Arthur Garfield Kirtley b. October 3, 1883, George Washington Kirtley b. October 13, 1870, Patrick C. Kirtley b. 1877, Thomas H. Kirtley b. 1879, Herbert B. Kirtley b. 1880, Daniel Webster Kirtley b. January 29, 1890, Ben Kirtley b. unknown, Maggie Kirtley b. unknown. I have been unable to find any record of James as a child. If you have any information on the parents or siblings of James G.
