| I only recently found the information I needed to search for my ancestors in my biological fathers line.(I am 70 yrs. old) I am back to Dyer, Co, Tennessee and starting with William H Kirk, Born: 1853 D: 1931, Idaho Falls,Idaho. Tabitha Elizabeth His wife ,I do not yet have her family name, Born: 1857, D: 1920, Rupert, Id. Elijah married Maggie Edna VanPelt B:1887 Her father was James W. VanPelt B:1866 D:. His wife is a Nancy A, also all from Tennessee. One interesting thing that I have found is that it seems they took a trip the same as the Cherokee's were forced to follow. I found a trail , Tenn. to Arkansas to Missippi(1900Census Here) & ending up in Caruthersville, Missouri, Pemiscott Co. I VERY MUCH WOULD APPRECIATE ANY & ALL HELP FOR THESE FAMILY'S |
