I have been researching my family for about 2 years and have over 800 people on my tree at the time of writing this; my close ties are with the following families:
On my Paternal grandfather's side: Kirkbride's in Yorkshire, Durham and North East, trying to link with Lancashire and Cumberland families of same name.
On my Paternal grandmother's side Elsworth’s in Yorkshire and possibly Lincolnshire.
On my maternal grandfather's side Smith’s in Yorkshire and York area in particular.
On my maternal grandmother's side Lund’s in Yorkshire and Knaresborough in particular.
My wife's side of the family includes: Barker, Leeds, Harrogate & North Yorkshire. Harrison,West Yorkshire. Ward, Harrogate and Leeds. Rockett, West Yorkshire.
