I have just started my own family research using the Family Tree Software. A previous research of the Kirkpatrick's from Amos Kirkpatrick was done by a relative living in California but not updated in over 20 years. Just trying to verify that which was done by Claude Kirkpatrick of CA,updating to current time and providing a method for those that follow to continue the update requirements as they develop. In addition to the Kirkpatrick side of the family I have an interest in the maternal side of my father, Glenn Eugene Kirkpatrick, his mothers family the Watson side. Her father was Nathan Watson from Ohio, Missouri and Kansas. While in Ohio was a member of the Unions Civil War; 15th Regiment of the Ohio Infantry Volunters and an Andersonville Prison guest that survived. His incarceration has just been brought up to date in the Andersonville prisoner data base from the National Archives in Washington D.C. 2003
