| Hi, I'm Sally Kiser and I'm researching the Nix family and also the Bluhm family, both from Germany. The earliest ancestor on Nix side that I have found is Johann Nix of Gelnhausen Germany, who was married to Eva Fastnacht.They were the parents of Johann Nix born in 1763 and died November 20, 1847 in Neudorf Germany.He was married to Margaretha Kraus born June 1, 1776 and died April 9, 1814. The earliest ancestor on Bluhm side is John Blum born 1837 in Hess Darmstadt Germany and died 1916 in Reed City Michigan.He was married to Catherine Wagester born August 18, 1847 in Canada and died January 24, 1919 in Reed City, Michigan.
