Notes for ANNIE(ANNA) ROBINSON: Annie provided the bond for her brother, Johnston and his family to enter the United States. Johnston's daughter, Anna Robinson Bozzo, recalls that Annie was always threatening the children to be good, so she wouldn't lose her bond money. Annie settled in Rhode Island and was a member of the Eastern Star. According to her nieces, Anna Robinson Bozzo and Mary Robinson Casale, she was something of a "big shot". |
