| If you are working on Jordans from Georgia you have discovered as I have the popularity of the name. I think It must have been the "Smith" of those days. So far every family has a "Dempsy, a William and a Charles. Not to mention, Sarah, Mary, and Sally. My Jordans do have a few unusual names that have helped me narrow my search. And I know where they lived for about 100 years. So If you are looking for a Jordan, Jurden, Jerdon, etc., in the Carroll County area we may be looking for the same line.
