The following was written by my Great Aunt Libby Kliner Andersonin 1977; she was 87 years old. Ignac Kliner Dad's forefathers came from Scotland during the 30 year war in the 1500's.Some migrated to Bohemia. Don't know the names of those who migrated,but Ignac and wife had five sons: John, Ignac, James, Frank and Jacob; also had one daughter, Katherine, who came to the USA in 1860's. Ignac Kliner: My great-grandfather married Anna Hlava on February 1, 1864 in a small town near Prague. They immigrated to the USA in August of 1867, settled in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Any information regarding the Kliner or Hlava family would be appriciated. Also looking for information on my mother's father, John Shroeder and family, Marshfield, Wisconsin.He died around 1946. He worked on the railroad and was married twice. Only know of 5 daughters, Olive, Nettie, Lulu, Marion, Esther. Marion was my mother.
