Blacksmith in Barry Twp Schuylkill Co and later a wheelwright on Commerce & Market Streets in Shamokin. Married FIETTA HERB, 1860 - 1985, from Rough and Ready, PA. They resided in Barry Twp where they had 6 children all orphaned upon mother's death at the early age of 35. Looking for any information on their orphaned children raised by other families: (1) FREDERICK THOMAS KLOCK, b: 22 Aug 1895, d: Jan 1970; (2) HENRY WALTER KLOCK, lived in Corpus Christi, TX several years; (3) CLAUDE KLOCK lived in Minersville, PA; USA (4) USA EMERY KLOCK b: bat 1886, d: 22 Dec 1944 in Vails Gate, Orange Co., NY; (5) JOSEPH PETER KLOCK, resided in Minersville, PA; and (6) MABLE M. FREDERICK THOMAS KLOCK, b: 22 Aug 1895, d: Jan 1970, seeking the mother of his first son, Russel Thomas Klock, b: 18 May 1910, d: 15 July 1963. She was probably from the Paxinos - Overlook Area, Shamokin Twp., Northumberland Co, PA. On 9 Aug 1913 Fred married Esther Louisa Chamberlain. They had 4 children together: William Russel, b: 12 Aug 1915, d: 29 Jan 1917; Marie Charlotte, b: 29 Jan 1918, d: 01 Jan 1999; Betty Laura, b: 9 Aug 1920; and Sylvia “Peggy” Louisa, b: 12 July 1922, d: Dec 1992. Fred and Esther lived most of their life in Shamokin, “Tharptown”, PA where he operated an area butcher route. Fred was born in Barry Twp, Schuylkill Co, PA and was orphaned when his mother, Fietta Herb Klock died at age 35. Information about his father Clinton Schlegel Klock is unknown. Fred was raised by his Uncle Ira Klinger, 1858 – 1927, and Mary Herb, 1866 – 1942, greenhouse owners in Paxinos, PA, Shamokin Twp, PA.
