The Bridgens and Merrett family of England, Great BritainUpdated February 10, 2011 |
Thomas Merrett was born about 1796 in Gloucester and married Sarah Clark in 1821. In the 1880s the Merretts moved to Birmingham. John Foxall took his step father's name of Bridgens when his mother remarried after the death of his father William Foxall in 1760. The Bridgens family lived in Belbroughton area of Worcestershire and also moved to Birmingham. My tree numbers over 500 individuals and I would be happy to share information but would also like assistance to find my missing links. My married name of Knabe is from Germany and I would love to to research this but only know my husband's grand parent's names and that they lived in Nordhausen before being killed in World War II. |
