I have been researching my family history for about 30 years. I have been lucky enough to find almost all my major branches including those elusive female lines. I am very proud of the fact that I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution through my ancestors Powell & Ruth (Trice) Riggins. Powell was an unproven line for the DAR and I worked very hard to find the needed information that was needed for my membership. I am also researching all related lines of my Riggins family. These names are many and scattered throughout the United States and Europe. I have also been very fortunate to live near an excellent research source, The State Historical Society in Madison Wisconsin. I welcome all additions and corrections to my research.
