John Henry Knopp 1858 - 1935

John Henry Knopp was born in 1858, probably in Indiana. He married Catherine Yeager(Jeager)from West Bend, Wisconsin and they settled and raised a family in Racine, Wisconsin. They had four boys and a girl..Frederick Christian, Eugene, Aloysius Christian, Herbert Christian and Bernice. The parents, along with Herbert and Bernice moved to Hartford , Michigan in the early 1900's. John's parents were Louis Knopp and Fredericka Praus, both born in Germany.
