This site explores the history of this branch of the Knapp Family. JACOB KNAPP was born about 1785 in Connecticut. After 1810 he moved to Fabius, Onondaga Co., New York, married, and lived there near others from his family until 1832 when he and his family moved to Morrow County, Ohio. Before 1850 he moved to Florence Twp., Williams Co., Ohio. He died there in 1861.
