no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I am researching the following names (for starters) Mojto,Moyto,Mayto, Masaryk, Masarik Sevcik from Slovakia Schoustra Terpstra from the Netherlands Revor from Canada and McHenry,IL Knezevich from Croatia This all began because of a search for a cousin that none of us has ever met. For as long as I can remember by Mother has talked about "David" (his name when he was born). He was born in late 1944 or early 1945. His parents (my uncle) were divorced by the time he was born. My uncle (his father) died in March of 1945 without ever being allowed to see his son, he tried when he was born but, was turned away at the hospital. My mother has spent years wondering about her brothers only son. All she needs to know is that he is Healthy and Happy. We have had no luck in locating him but, it has opened up a whole new perspective for me about family. Who we are and where we come from matters. Who suffered so we could have better lives? Where they came from and why? At times it is difficult but, always rewarding.
All ended up in Chicago,IL for whatever reasons. And then there was: Me and Mine.
