Hello, My name is Donald Knotts and I am opening this site in order to gather whatever information is out there on the internet regarding my family. My mother's name is Evelyn Lopez, born in Southern California, probably 6th or 7th generation. She sat on the knee of Petra Silva-Mora y Bermudes when Petra was around 120 years old. She was my mother's great, great, great grandmother. Any additional information would be appreciated. Petra died at an extimated 122 years old. On my Dad's side he was the third of the Henry Clyde Knotts' from Fayette County in Pennsylvania. My Dad is from Ohio. I am trying to find out anything about when the Knotts family or their relatives came over from England.
