Jacqueline's Family Tree

I am researching the ALEC FOWLER family from Cheshire England.
My grandmother told me that my grandfather ALEC FOWLER'S father's name was WILLIAM. That is all I know about them. i have been unable to locate anything about my grandfather, ALEC in birth, marriage or census records so far.

I belive it may be possible that the WILLIAM FOWLER who first appears in the 1871 census in the Macclesfield Cheshire England, area was my grandfather ALEC FOWLER'S father.

ALEC FOWLER married LILLEY ISABEL SHAW who was my paternal grandmother. That's all I know. ALEC and LILLEY FOWLER lived in a house called "The Nook" in Whaley Bridge Cheshire when my parents, my brother and I lived in Ketleshulme, Cheshire up until 1947.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
