We are just beginning to put all the pieces of our family together. The original spelling of our name was Knopf. Our immigrant ancestor was Michael Knopf, who settled in North Tonawanda, NY. He and his wife, Eva Herr Knopf, were from Alsace-Lorraine and reached this country with their four children in 1833. We would be interested in sharing any information that we have with anyone who feels that they are part of our family tree.
