3/29/97 - I am researching the KNOERZER family name, with interest in identifying Knoerzer family relationships within the USA, and extending them into Germany. Of particular interest is Nicklaus Knoerzer, who is the furthest known relative I have discovered:

Name: Nicklaus Knoerzer, b. 1781, Germany, d. Unknown, Germany
Son: John Leonard Knoerzer, b. 28 Feb 1811, Germany, Emigrated to USA 1844, d. 16 Apr 1892, Hammond, IN USA

Any Knoerzer or Knoerzer descendant who see this page is invited to send me an e-mail or postal service letter with information on their family and possible relationship. I know there are Knoerzer's living or who lived in Texas, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Illinois, Ohio, California, and various parts of Germany who are of unknown relation. Some of this information has been located in census records, but it is much easier to begin with someone's knowledge than to search from scratch. I have information on Knoerzer families in the USA who have not been connected to my ancestry, which, if related, are by means of a common ancestor in Germany. I am willing to share the information I have, and am certainly interested in adding to it.

My family tree is attached as a report.
