I am researching the family of George HOUSE born in Md. in 1761 to John Valentine HOUSE. George married a Ann WELLS in 1792 in Chesterfield County, VA moving to Greene Co., TN. George and Ann and 6 children, one being George Washington HOUSE, born 1813. George Washington HOUSE married Margaret HORN, m. 1837 and had the following children: Tempe Caroline, Susan, John P., George Washington, James F. Elizabeth, David, Eliza, Samuel P., Nancy, and Amy. George and James were Union soldiers in the Civil War.
Surnames included in the above family include: Burgner,Doyal, Hampton, Hare, Jennings, Johnson, Moore, Myers, Stokes, Stuart, Waddle, and White.
