George D. Thomas, born abt. 1800 in either Md. or Va., married first Nancy Lovejoy b. abt. 1800, daughter of Josiah Lovejoy and Sarah Campbell, she had two brothers John and Samuel. George and Nancy married 20 March 1832 in Kanawha Co., they had two sons that I know of Oliver Perry Thomas b. 1833 and George W.S. b. 1839. Oliver was born in Jackson Co.,(W)Va. and he married Sarah Catherine Boggess, b.27 April 1839, the oldest child of Benjamin Boggess and Polly Spencer. I have not been able to find out who George's parents are, I think it might be Josiah Thomas, since he had a daughter Catherine who married who married Jonathan Derrick. Josiah is the only one who was in Kanawha Co. old enough to be George's father, that is if his father came to Kanawha Co.

Secondly George married Sarah Jones, and they had several children together, which I have found most of them.
George D. Thomas of Kanawha Co., WV.
