The Litchfield Family of Kansas

I have just begun to try to find out about my ancestors. We are supposed to be related to the Earl of Litchfield, a cousin to the Queen of England. I believe that my father's grandparents came over from England, but so far I have not found out much about my grandparents, let alone about my great-grandparents. My father doesn't know if his parents had siblings or not.

My great-grandfather's name (i believe) is Wiliam T. Litchfield.
I believe my great-grandmother's name is Sarah Miles (Myles?).
