Searching for any information relating to Joseph F. Kodad and his wife Mary (Bartunek) Kodad who came to the US in 1883 from Oparany, Tabor, Bohemia. they entered the US in Baltimore ,Md and moved to Schuyler, Nebraska until 1890 when they went west to the Oregon coast to homestead near Cape Mears and Netarts. They started their journey with four children Wenzl (James), Marie (Mary), Josepha (Josi) and Anna who died on the boat on the trip. I am trying to find out if Joseph had any brothers or sisters. I have some info on Mary Bartunek now. Would appreciate any info and will share what I have with anyone else. |
