lived in Effingham County, Illinois.

This farm in Albers, Illinois was owned by Gerhard
Santel and his wife Anna Stuckenberg Santel. His son Louis Santel and Louis' wife Elizabeth Frueke Santel worked the farm for awhile. Most of their
children were born there.
