Maria and Christoph are the reason I began researching our family tree. They are true American children. Their ancestors include Kogler's from Austria, Hoffmann's from Holland, Sigle's, Schieb's, Schappell's and Janne's from Germany, Dunckley's and Archer's from Ireland, and Finlay's from Scotland. Some ancestors are recent immigrants and others, like the Halbert's of Virginia, and the Schieb's of Pennsylvania, were pioneering forefathers that arrived in the United States before the American Revolution. I am posting the information I gather as it is added to my database. I acknowledge that there are some conflicting details in some of the oldest information posted. I continue to seek documentation that resolves these conflicts. I have kept details to a minimum, and information for those still alive is private.
