I am researching the Rinehimer family, also spelled, Rheinheimer,Reinheimer,Rhineheimer, Rhinehammer, etc. History has it that Conrad Reinheimer came from Germany with his parents, who died on shipboard, when he was 18 months old. We don't know if there was family here to meet him or he was adopted by Rinehimers. He married Maria (Mary) Kocher. According to "The History of Hanover Township" By Henry Blackman Plumb, Conrad was raised in Northampton County and after he and Maria were married they came to Hanover in 1805 and settled on the Middle Road - Hog Back and died in Hanover. They had 9 children: George 1791, Betsy 1793, Joseph 1795, Daniel 1797, Conrad Jr., Rose Ann , Peter 1811, Simon 1818, and John.I am from the line of Conrad Jr. His son was George who had Edward Eugene, who had Lloyd Edward, who had me, Debra Rinehimer Kohl.

I'm looking for Ross, Fletcher, Ford, Schneider, Wright, Sanders, Shaw, and Sims also.

I am also researching the Kohl's. I go back to George Kohl born in September in 1726 in Baden, Germany. He had 3 children that I know of. George, born Jan 1, 1759 in Berks Co. PA, and Anna Maria born June 14, 1760 in Berks Co and married Nicolous Adam, and Maria Elizabeth who married Hiram Willnerk and Conrad May.

I am more than willing to share information on any of these names. I'm also on ICQ and my number is 10103212.
