| The surnames that I am researching are Kohl,Koenig,Nelson and Hansen.The Kohl and Koenig families settled in St. Clair County, Illinois.My grandfather,Joseph Kohl came from Baden,Germany. Matthias Koenig (according to the Immigration books)came from Bavaria. J.Kohl arrived in the US in 1860. M. Koenig arrived in the US between 1855-1860. I am trying to find more of their specific location where they originated from. |
