Descendants of Dielman Kolb

Generation No. 1

      1. Dielman1 Kolb was born 1648 in Wolfsheim, Baden Germany, and died October 13, 1712 in Mannheim, Baden, Germany. He married Agnus Schumacher 1670 in Wolfsheim, Rhs., Hessen, Germany, daughter of Peter Schumacher. She was born 1652 in Wolfsheim, Palatinate, and died February 07, 1704/05 in Wolfsheim, Baden, Palatinate.

Notes for Dielman Kolb:
Born at the close of the Thirty Year War and growing to manhood in the peaceful period before the War of the Grand Alliance again devastated his homeland, he became a man of means and position with business connections in Holland. It is supposed that he was a Mennonite since four of his six sons were ministers of that faith, but later united with the Friends.

He bought 200 acres of land from Herman Op den Graeff. The agreement is dated Aug. 16, 1685. The deed is written in Dutch or Holland language and Recorded in the Germantown book.
Dielman Kolb was born in 1648. He resided in Wolfsheim in Baden, Germany. He died in 1712, aged 64 years. He is buried at Mannheim, Germany.

Abram Hunsicker, genealogist for the Kulp/Kolb/Culp Family Association believed that there were two additional daughters. I have not found any other sources for this relationship.

Agnes Kolb, born 167?, married Peter Galle and did not come to America
Maria Kolb, born 168?, married Johannes Krahbiel/Kriebel and did not come to America.
