Michael A. Kolb Family Home Page

I'm researching the history of the Kolb Family. With the help of a cousin,Donald Eckerle(DEckerle@aol.com) we have gotten back as far as Charles Kolb 1857-1917, born in the Offenberg County, Baveria, Germany. He came to the United States in 1882 and became a US citizen on October 15, 1888 in Brooklyn, NY. He was married to a Kathar Neiten 5 Oct. 1884 and had one child,(Charles). Next married Catherine Meyer 3 Jan 1886 and had five(5)children(Charles,Elizabeth,Annamarie,Ottilia,John).
Lastly he married Catherine Keller 18 Dec 1897 and had three(3)children,(Catherine,Genevive,Louis,my grandfather).
His parents were Jacob Kolb and Elizabeth Faber.
