Find Family

I've always been interested in the history of the Komp family. Unfortuntaely, I never had the opportunity to meet my grandfather, Robert Komp and Robert Mrozinski. I did have, what I considered and I am sure she did as well, a close relationship with my grandmother, Lois Komp. She passed away when I was thirteen, but I think we both knew that we had a lot of the same personality. Time flies by so fast, and you lose track of the past, but I'll never forget some of the conversations I had with my Grandma Komp.

This really isn't just about the Komp family though. It is about the people that have come before us that make us who we are. We all have a little bit of our ancestors in each one of us. This was so apparent when I had my first child, Sofia Grace. She doesn't just smile like me, she laughs with her whole face like her Grandpa(PaPa)Komp and hugs with the same affection of her Grandma(MaMa)Komp. She is not just her Mother and Father, she is all those that have come before her.

So here's to those who have come before me. May we all remember the laughter and the love and live every day to the fullest. I dedicate my work to those that I never got to meet but made me who I am, my Grandfathers Robert Komp and Robert Mrozinski.
