The Strickland Family
Updated September 6, 2000Some of the names I am searching in my Family Tree are:Strickland, starting with John ,Father of Joel. Joel Strickland was born about 1758 in North Carolina, died in Wayne County, GA abourt 1835. Joel was married to Elizabeth Strickland( she had the same last name-they were distant? cousins!) Parker, William -father was Dr. Calvin Green Berry Washington Parker. William was born in 1843. Owned two or three newspapers in Georgia. The last being the Waycross Headlight. He was also captured by the North in the War between the States.Ricketson, Charlotte dau. of John and Rebecca. Charlotte was married to William Parker. also of Georgia. |
