Both sides of my family settled around the Lacona, Iowa area at a very early time so my family file is large and intertwined. Family life centered around the two area Catholic churches of St. Marys of Rosemount and St. Joseph Church at Bauer. BAUER, DITTMER, GIESBAUM, KONRAD, RIPPERGER, SCHAEFER, SEUFERER and WACHTER are a few of the surnames I'm researching. Any additions or corrections to this information is appreciated. Source info is required. A huge thank you to Ed Dittmer who supplied a lot of the early family research. Family files are more easily viewed by using the Adobe PDF format (view PDF). Thank you and enjoy!
